Zafar Iqbal has over 10 years of working experience in teaching, leadership, and research. Worked in different organizations in professional and volunteer capacities. He is associated with AKES, P for the last four years as Vice Principal at AKHSS Karachi and currently as Principal AKHSS Gilgit. Prior to joining AKES, P, he has served as Training Coordinator with Hashoo Foundation, Research Supervisor at Aga Khan University Karachi, a Training officer with Focus Humanitarian Assistance Pakistan, and Teacher in different schools and colleges. He has received various professional training from AKU- IED, IBA Karachi, Hashoo Foundation, and AKESP.
In addition to this, Mr. Iqbal received a Scholarship from Hashoo Foundation for BS Program, he is a certified Trainer of School Safety and Lead Educator of the English Language Enhancement Program (ELEP) from PACC. He believes in community engagements and cross-culture communication, represented Gilgit-Baltistan in “The 3rd Great Anatolian Meeting of world cultures and youth” held in Ankara -Turkey from 12-21 May 2010. Mr. Iqbal is language smart and speaks more than seven languages.
