Fida Ali Shah Ghizri is from the beautiful Phandar Valley. He is a journalist and communication professional. He has a post-graduate degree in mass communication from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Islamabad. He visited the International Center for Journalists Washington DC on fellowship and trained on conflict reporting and investigative journalism.  He is a member of the Pakistan-US Alumni Network.

Fida has been working with various regional and national newspapers for the last 15 years. Currently, he is leading his initiative, Phander Times, as an Editor In-chief, to promote professional journalism in the region to encourage community mobilization on social development and behavior change, environment-friendly measures, and creating mass awareness of natural resources. He is regularly highlighting the issues faced by local communities.
