Alisha Rajani

Alisha has over a decade of diverse business and management experience across various sectors including higher education, telecommunications, aerospace, financial services, broadcasting, healthcare, retail, travel, and energy.  She is currently Associate Director, Industry Engagement at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management where she is responsible for engaging with top tier organizations to provide enriching career opportunities for postgraduate students.

As a consultant, she led large-scale change management, employee engagement, and process improvement projects across Canada and the US at Bell Canada, and Gallup Consulting Group. She also spent four years working internationally to launch a start-up university after having been selected for the Aga Khan Foundation Canada’s International Fellowship Program. As Manager of Academic Operations, she was responsible for the strategy implementation of two new undergraduate campuses, which served rural communities in Central Asia. This involved developing and managing international university partnerships, curriculum development, admissions & academic/non-academic program design & implementation. She then took the position of Deputy Director of Human Resources where she led global talent acquisition, onboarding & policy/program design across 3 countries.

Alisha is passionate about career development, education, and empowering individuals to achieve their highest human potential. She currently volunteers her time consulting non-profits on HR matters, delivering training workshops, and offering career counseling services to recent undergraduate and graduate students, both in Canada and in Central Asia.

A lifelong learner, Alisha holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, an Honours Bachelor of Human Resources Management from York University, and is the 2012 scholarship recipient from the Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs.  She is currently completing a Learning Experience Design Certificate at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
